I've been writing poetry on and off since I was a teenager. I don't really have opinions of what I put down in the form of poems - it's just a way for me to have that strong, vivid feeling for it to claw its way out and onto a page so that I can look back at it and remember things. My poems are like snapshots of my emotional or mental states, and it helps to be able to go back from time to time to see how far along I've come.
How much I've changed from who I used to be.
In a sense, they're learning tools, helping me with self reflection.
I tend to think that the purpose of most poetry is to touch a string within someone, to reach out to let another soul know what's in your heart.
Here are the poems that I've written and kept track of over the years:
No Longer Angry || Depression || Run with the Moon || Love is a Virus || BloodDance || Diamanda || Murderer || The Watcher || Confusion || Dream || Romeo is Bleeding || Cribdeath || Soulmate || Darling || Illuminate || Madness || Insecurity || Fear || Angel || The Job || Pathetic || Shard of Hate || Thin || Departure of Friends || Empty Life || Kindred Spirit || Why Bother? || Loss of Control || Lonely Girl || Loss of a Dream || Damaged || Done || Excision || Missing You || Jhada || Hope || Reflection || History Repeating || Wet, Red Love
