I follow him 
through time itself 
waiting to catch up

to hold him in my arms 
for just a moment 

Too soon 
our time is finished 
this life 
into the next 

Our hands may part 
but together we run 
headlong into the unknown 
waiting 
hoping 
we'll find each other 
in the next life 

Hoping that time 
doesn't run out
