I found a site a couple of days ago that made my blood curdle. As I read through the ravings of this obviously insane man I found myself quaking with anger at the ignorance of his "pure and holy" hatred. The man? Neal Horsley, candidate for the State of Georgia. And his "flock"? The Creator's Rights Party. What's truly shocking is that he actually has lots of followers. His message is peppered with a "healthy" hatred for all homosexuals "Homosexuals are the living embodiment of the death of man." If that statement isn't apparent enough, try this one: 

"The character (homosexuals) have chosen is the antithesis of the man. Homosexuals are males who have decided to join females in their slaying of the man. In the same way, homosexuals are also females who have decided to join males in their slaying of the woman. Female homosexuals are the antithesis of the historical woman. In short, homosexuals are vaginally defeated males or vaginally defeated females whose very existence is defined in terms of their commitment to destroy the historical meanings of man and woman." 

Wow...pretty blatant, eh? Apparently not. MANY groups around the country are spewing this same hate filled garbage towards blacks, jews, women, men, whites, aborigines, germans, gypsies, etc...the list goes on and on people. Fred Phelps, one of the original unholy trinities of hate, has been actively making life as hellish for homosexuals as he possibly can. This man actually took a caravan up to setup an anti-gay picket line outside Matthew Shepard's funeral ceremony. If you don't know who Matthew was, you've been living under a rock for the last couple of months. Read this. Various interviews with this moron are rather revelational, in an apocolyptic sense. It's abhorrent that vicious people like this have large followings of bleating hate filled sheep, just waiting to bash anybody that they don't like. 

"They (homosexuals) have piggy-backed on for their lying, godless agenda to the Democratic party such that they wouldn't even let me debate at their convention that issue in New York last August. Wouldn't let me on the platform and let the dyke, Gloria O'Dell, have two minutes!" - Fred Phelps 

Fred actively pickets the funerals of gays, and the flyers that he distributes actually seem like they'd be highly amusing if he weren't completely serious about what he was talking about. That's what makes him so scary. He comes off like a total crackhead, but people are LISTENING TO HIM. This scares the shit out of me! What if he or some other hate monger claiming to be following "God's will" comes after me or my family because they don't seem me as a human being in "God's eyes"? This is quickly becoming pretty damn terrifying. I have friends that have been bashed for years for being gay or just mildly different in appearance. It's HORRIFYING. 

Various religious organizations and white supremecy organizations active today preach that "Many of them (homosexuals) tried to find help in the Church before they surrendered to the temptation of homosexuality." Isn't this a little antiquated? It's just as stupid as the derogatory slang we give to the irish, black, jewish, italian, asian, etc...again, the list goes on forever, unfortunately. Relating to people that think and view the world differently doesn't seem to be their strong point. I'm so tired of people pointing an accusing finger at people that are different and going "You obviously don't belong, and I feel that it's my duty as a pure breed (aryan, christian, muslim, whatever) to deliver myself from your offensive presence by killing you or beating the shit out of you". 

Now, while I'm not really the type to spout the same old "Why can't we all just get along" tripe, isn't it in our best interest to try to understand each other? Life is hard enough on an individual basis without having to go through it hating everybody and everything you see. Anger and Hate are very hard emotions to maintain without either completely breaking down emotionally, or going insane and picking people off from a rooftop with a rifle. Life would become much more bearable if we could just deal with our own issues and insecurities instead of meddling in the affairs of others... 

If you don't like something, here's a helpful hint...Get OVER YOURSELF and turn it off or walk away from it. It's not like those of us that like living alternative lifestyles go around shoving it in front of everybody that's uncomfortable with it. Pick up and move on...get a pet or a hobby. Or, even better...GET A LIFE!
